Introduction[edit]

There are two nearly same named Microsoft products: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS). Last is obviously an add-on to WSS.

sites respectively workspaces (virtual working areas)
subsites
libraries (folder) for documents, wiki pages, pictures and InfoPath forms
lists for contacts, announcements, discussions, links, calendar, tasks, issues tracking, custom lists, ...
web parts

Operation[edit]

Open Files in Desktop App[edit]

Einstellungen -> Bibliothekseinstellungen -> weitere Bibliothekseinstellungen -> Erweiterte Einstellungen
Adjust 'Dokumente werden im Browser geöffnet'

LogIn[edit]

https://workspaces.intranet.eon.com (O\U1728 + Password)
select MyWorkspaces
select workspace => overview page

Save Document on local computer[edit]

right click on document -> save target as ...

Versioning[edit]

see document library settings

Create a new subsite[edit]

click Sites in left menu bar
select create

Applying for a new workspace[edit]

Web Navigator -> Workspaces -> Beantragung eines E.ON Workspace

Edit the Properties of a Document library[edit]

select the document library
Settings->Document Library Settings

Adjust Left Quick Launch[edit]

Site Settings -> Quick Launch

Move Document with History[edit]

open two IEs with Explorer View
