Introduction
There are two nearly same named Microsoft products: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS). Last is obviously an add-on to WSS.
- sites respectively workspaces (virtual working areas)
- subsites
- libraries (folder) for documents, wiki pages, pictures and InfoPath forms
- lists for contacts, announcements, discussions, links, calendar, tasks, issues tracking, custom lists, ...
- web parts
Operation
LogIn
- https://workspaces.intranet.eon.com (O\U1728 + Password)
- select MyWorkspaces
- select workspace => overview page
Save Document on local computer
- right click on document -> save target as ...
Create a new subsite
- click Sites in left menu bar
- select create
Applying for a new workspace
Web Navigator -> Workspaces -> Beantragung eines E.ON Workspace
Edit the Properties of a Document library
- select the document library
- Settings->Document Library Settings
Adjust Left Quick Launch
- Site Settings -> Quick Launch
Move Document with History
- open two IEs with Explorer View
