MSSharepoint

Introduction

There are two nearly same named Microsoft products: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS). Last is obviously an add-on to WSS.

• sites respectively workspaces (virtual working areas)
• subsites
• libraries (folder) for documents, wiki pages, pictures and InfoPath forms
• lists for contacts, announcements, discussions, links, calendar, tasks, issues tracking, custom lists, ...
• web parts

Operation

LogIn

• https://workspaces.intranet.eon.com (O\U1728 + Password)
• select MyWorkspaces
• select workspace => overview page

Save Document on local computer

• right click on document -> save target as ...

Versioning

• see document library settings

Create a new subsite

• click Sites in left menu bar
• select create

Applying for a new workspace

Web Navigator -> Workspaces -> Beantragung eines E.ON Workspace

Edit the Properties of a Document library

1. select the document library
2. Settings->Document Library Settings

Adjust Left Quick Launch

1. Site Settings -> Quick Launch

Move Document with History

1. open two IEs with Explorer View
2. D&D file
