Everything in the model is a geometry.

Group[edit]

  • combines multiple geometries in one
  • enables movement without moving attached geometries
  • adding components by first open the group (double click shows surrounding box, click outside the box closes it again)

Component[edit]

  • combines multiple geometries in one
  • adding components by first open the group (double click shows surrounding box, click outside the box closes it again)
  • changes to one component affecting all copies of the component in the same model

Layers[edit]

Every geometry can be assigned to a layer.

Coordinate System[edit]

  • blue: z-axis> 0
  • dotted blue: z-axis< 0
  • red: x-axis > 0
  • dotted red: x-axis < 0
  • green: y-axis > 0
  • dotted green: y-axis < 0

Inference Points[edit]

  • edges: small red dot
  • end-point: small green dot
